Overview
Our affiliate, Unified Women's Healthcare of Texas, is looking for
a Nurse Practitioner to join their prestigious Women's Health Care
Center in Houston, TX. Join a compassionate group who provide a

meaningful.
Position Highlights:
Join an established and successful practice that has served women
in Houston and the surrounding areas for many years
Full time position for someone who wants to work 40 hours per week
and take a hybrid role in managing the clinic and treating clinic
patients
This is a clinic only position and does not require any hospital,
call, nights, or weekends
One office location where nurse practitioner will work with
patients along with the physicians and will assist with the
management of the clinic when the physicians are out for
deliveries, surgeries, or vacation. There may be a possibility of a
2nd office in the future.
Duties include seeing patients, completing charting, calling back
patients with labs, answering patient phone calls, patient
education, sending prescriptions electronically or by phone, and
administering medication
Will assist physicians with scheduling patient appointments and
surgical procedures at Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital
Clinic volume will be about 20-30 patients per day
Prefer someone who has 2-4 years of experience as a nurse
practitioner and some management background in a nursing
position
Experience with the Athena EMR system and bioTE hormone pellet
insertion is highly desired

Requirements:
National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to
obtain
Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management
staff
Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices
without direct supervision or guidance by a physician
One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is
preferred
