In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.Operating Room Nurse Role:Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity settingProven ability to think and react quickly in critical situationsProvide care before, during and after surgeryProficiency with telemetry / cardiac MonitoringPassion for excellence in delivering quality careIf you are ready to start a career with an established team in an organization that understands the importance of your life's calling, it's time to connect with St Luke's!QualificationsRequired Skills:Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma.One (1) or more years of nursing experienceLicensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of TexasBasic Life Support (BLS)(AHA) with skills demonstrationPreferred Skills:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferredOne (1) or more years of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU, ED or Labor and Delivery setting preferredPay Range$33.00 - $52.80 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
