TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified NICU RN in Houston, Texas, 77090 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: NICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Active RN license Certifications: NRP, BLS Must-Have: Level III NICU experience Job Description: - Work in a Level III NICU unit with 24 beds - Collaborate with a team comprising day shift: 1 Charge, 4-6 RNs, 1 PCA, 1 Milk Tech; and night shift: 1 Charge, 4-6 RNs - Maintain patient ratios of level 3 at 2:1 (sometimes 3:1), and level 2 at 4:1 - Utilize equipment such as ventilators, IV pumps, CPAP, Oscillator, Phototherapy lights/blankets - Use EMR systems Meditech and GE Centricity (CPN) - Perform typical procedures including lumbar punctures, chest tubes, intubation, IV starts, arterial stick, UAC/UVC placement and maintenance, PAL maintenance - Foster a team-oriented and flexible work environment - Adhere to the requirement of completing 4-5 weekend shifts a month - Wear royal blue scrubs - Vaccination is mandatory for all candidates, declinations are not accepted. 26223263EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
