Job Description:
Corporate Recruiter We are seeking a motivated and experienced
Corporate Recruiter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate
will have exposure or an understanding of the civil engineering
industry and a proven track record in sourcing, screening, and
placing technical professionals. You will play a crucial role in
identifying and attracting top talent to meet organizational
needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the
recruitment process, including collaborating with departmental
managers to understand skills and competencies required for
openings.
- Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft
detailed and accurate job descriptions
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting
methods and strategies based on the available role, industry
standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Leads and coordinates events for recruiting efforts
- Manages the on-boarding and off-boarding processes, including
new hire orientations
- Manages and maintains the integrity of the ATS, HRIS system and
data
- Utilize various channels (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) to identify
and attract qualified civil engineering candidates, including job
boards, social media, networking events, and industry
associations.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate
candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for client
organizations.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand their specific
needs and requirements, providing guidance on job descriptions and
interview training, candidate profiles, and hiring processes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with both clients and
candidates, ensuring a positive recruitment experience for all
parties involved.
- Manage company's internal internship program
- Coordinate career fairs and logistics while collaborating with
the hiring managers schedules for attendance.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics, providing regular
updates to management on candidate pipelines, placements, and
overall recruitment performance.
- Provides and analyzes Ad Hoc reports as needed
- Performs projects and other duties as assigned.Requirements and
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration,
or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in civil
engineering or related technical fields.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced
environment.
- Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and
recruitment tools.
- Highly adaptable and strong analytical and problem-solving
skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution
skills
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet
deadlines
- Ability to build rapport and communicate professionally will
all levels of the firm
- Maintain confidentiality and exercises discretion at all
times
- SHRM/PHR certified preferred
