Job Description:

Do you have at least three years of experience in a mechanical-based role coupled with at least one year of quality control experience? Staffmark, in partnership with our global client, is hiring a new Quality Control Inspector in Dayton, TX. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in the preparation, assembly, and repair of various types of oilfield products. Pay: $18 per hour
1st Shift Hours: 6 AM - 6 PM with opportunities for overtime

Essential Functions:

Performs independent, routine, or repetitive assignments using a variety of simple techniques and standard work procedures.
Troubleshooting of equipment to identify/diagnose problems
Equipment tear down, repair, and reassembly using hand and air tools
Maintain excellent housekeeping practices
Participation in the rotational on-call schedule

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years' experience in a mechanical-based role
1+ years of QC experience
Basic knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, and computers (including Microsoft Office Suite)
Strong mechanical, communication, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills
Proficiency in using measuring and testing equipment/software
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and stand for the full duration of each shift
Willingness to travel to remote job site locations as needed
A valid driver's license
